PHYSICAL AFFECTION: I'm ok with it, Shadow definitely won't.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: A-ok. Combat is the norm for Shadow.
RELATIONSHIPS: Open to platonic relations. Preference Shadamy. I like the brother/sister dynamic with Rouge and Sonic, but I'm ok going further with it.
PSYCHIC & PSIONIC INFORMATION: There's a lot of anger in his head. Please ask before any mindreading.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: He gains various abilities while he has a Chaos Emerald that includes stopping time/space in a mid range area around him, energy spears that stun enemies, and teleportation.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: He's immortal. Artificial creation with alien blood.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: Anything about the Black Arms, Black Doom, Maria, G.U.N., the Ark. What happened 50 years ago. Bringing up he's an experiment. Being used. Note I'm ok if they are brought up.

OUT OF CHARACTER

INTERESTED IN: Gen, fluff, slice of life, hurt/comfort, angst. Like the slow-burn, and trying to get him to open up. Enemies to friends/frenemies. Ok with negative CR. Also this serious hedgehog is just asking to be put into an embarrassing situation, so please do.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: Smol 3'3' (100cm) black hedgehog with gloves and air shoes. The gold rings around his wrists and ankles are limiters to keep his chaos energy under control.
AURAL: Low, smooth and methodical. There are three voices that I cannot choose between as they all fit certain aspects of Shadow depending on the thread. Kirk Thorton, Jason Griffith, and Kōji Yusa.
OLFACTORY: Some variation of coffee, gun powder and/or lavender.
DEMEANOUR: Cold, brooding, no nonsense, intimidating despite his short stature.

Game vs Movie Introspection

My personal notes as I write both and how I differentient them. I figure providing this here would also be helpful to those who would like to tag him.

Game!Shadow

• Mission Driven. Actions carried by a promise.
• Created by Professor Gerald Robontnik in cooperation with Black Doom. Doom provided his DNA and in exchange, the seven chaos emeralds and to create the ultimate warrior, to be given to Doom upon the Black Comet's next return, 50 years later.
• Taught and educated with a purpose, in order to help humanity. Forced to grow up quickly.
• A reason for all of his actions. Believes he can do anything himself without help.
• Heavily leans into his Ultimate Lifeform title. Always knows what he wants, what needs to be done. Calculated.
• Tends to take action first, ask questions later. The initiator. His priorities may not line up with everyone else, but he does what he thinks is right.
• Does not engage if there isn't something in it for him. If he's helping someone, generally it's toward some overall benefit.
• Keeps everyone at a distance for multiple reasons. Friends are a liability, nothing good comes from getting to know him, he's dangerous, protect himself from feeling hurt again, being different from others. I can keep going.
• There's like three levels he will categorize people in. Hate, tolerate or reliable. Gaining his friendship is not impossible, but requires a lot of work. Atm, there are people he would trust, but he never outwardly say they're friends.
• Sometimes doesn't trust his own memories having suffered through memory modification and amnesia. Trust what he can see and feel for himself. 
• He is shaped by his past, but does not let the past consume him. He accepts he has done terrible things and does not consider himself a good person. Even if the world turns against him, he will keep fighting for what he believes is right and protect Earth how he sees fit.
• Since I generally play him Post-Shadow generations/Colors, he's seeking his own happiness after seeing Maria once more, reminding him that he isn't just a ball of rage and hate. Start to think more for himself what he wants, instead of just upholding a promise.
• He was given a soul identical to Maria, differentiating him from a weapon. I like to imagine he took to heart when Maria said she would always be with him, that there's a manifestation of Maria that exist in his soul, built on Shadow's memories of her. If a character is capable of seeing/diving into one's soul, one could speak with her. Sometimes he might have dreams talking to this memory, seeking guidence.

Movie!Shadow

• A Lost Child
• It is unknown at this time if he was created or naturally born. Only thing of note was that he crash landed on earth inside of a meteor.
• Curious. Having only awaken from stasis not too long ago, he is still learning about the outside world. More engaged when he's given something to do that isn't to destroy.
• Not as educated as Game, but still a quick study. Was allowed to have moments where he could just be a kid. I assume the testings he went through were pretty rough, so they balanced it by showing him having fun.
• Knowledge gained from whatever Maria told him or through the various shows/movies he watched on television in the 70s. Insert dated pop culture reference.
• Carries a lot of guilt due to having a hand in Maria's death, Tom getting injured, and powering up the Eclipse Cannon himself. Really hates himself and his powers. Feels shame. Questions his existence a lot since he doesn't know where he came from. Why does he have the powers he has when they seem to do nothing but cause hurt and destruction?
• Ultimate lifeform has a more negative connotation for him.
• When people are nice to him, he expects they want something from him in return. He had been used all his life, even by Gerald in the present day. So it's difficult for him to believe someone is being kind to him, because they want to.
• Wants to be left alone out of distrust, but also not wanting to harm others with his powers.
• Stronger yearning to belong somewhere and compansionship, but people have judged him by being different and for his powers. They don't see him for who he is and so he closes himself off. Does not want to get hurt. Maria's death still hurts him now.
• Does not initate conflict unless the other starts it. Passive.
• I want him to eventually see that he's capable of doing other things beside destroying. That he doesn't have to hide himself. That he can be or do anything he wants, not because of his powers, but who he is inside. As Maria once told him, seeing there's good in him. 
• Probably has a fear of enclosed spaces filled with water, considering the trauma he went through before going into stasis.
